Cuomo: Collins was 'unfit' to hold office even before he was indicted

Governor Andrew Cuomo is speaking out after Congressman Chris Collins was indicted on insider trading charges.

During a press conference Thursday night, the governor says Collins wasn't fit to represent western New York even before the indictment.

What Cuomo didn't do is call on Collins to resign, saying instead that choice is up to Collins.

The charges center around Collins' position as a board member of an Australian biotechnology company.

He's accused of feeding insider information to his son and the father of his son's fiance so they could save a lot of money. He'll still be on the November ballot for re-election.

Collins is due back in court in October.
