ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — If your secondary home was affected by flooding along Lake Ontario, you're running out of time to apply for relief.

Tuesday, Dec. 10 is the last day to apply for funding through the Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Flood Relief and Recovery Program.

Property owners with second homes in Orleans, Monroe, and Wayne counties may receive up to $50,000 in state funding to help offset the cost of repairs. The state has set aside $8 million for secondary homes.
