Deputies say the 19-year-old driver fell asleep at the wheel. The car drifted off the road and hit a utility pole, toppling wires and blocking the road.

The driver, who was not hurt, was not speeding, drinking, or high at the time of the crash, according to deputies.

Plank Road between Jackson and Shoecraft roads have since reopened to traffic after crews repaired the downed wires.
