Deputies identify woman fatally struck by Greece police investigator

Deputies have identified the Parma woman who was struck and killed by a Greece Police investigator.

Investigator Kevin Klump, a 17-year veteran of the force, was driving in an unmarked patrol vehicle on Route 104/West Ridge Road Saturday night when he struck and killed 52-year-old Lillian Weyanna.

Deputies say Weyanna is originally from Alaska. Arrangements are being made to return her to Alaska.

Klump is on paid administrative leave.

The incident is still under investigation. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is working with the New York State Attorney General's Office, who is also conducting an investigation as required by NYS Executive Law.
