GROVELAND, N.Y. (WHEC) — Four people, including a Livingston County sheriff's deputy, are recovering after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday.
The crash happened at the intersection of Mount Morris Geneseo Road and Groveland Station Road just before 3 p.m.
Investigators say a minivan driven by a 39-year-old woman was stopped at a stop sign on Groveland Station Road waiting to make a left turn onto Mount Morris Geneseo Road. She then turned left into the path of Deputy Michael Phillips, causing a t-bone type collision.
The woman and two passengers, ages 12 and 15, were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Phillips was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
Investigators say the driver of the minivan will be issued a ticket for failing to yield to the right of way.
