Deputies: Man arrested for DWI after struggling to put gas in car

FARMINGTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is charged with DWI after stopping to get gas in Farmington early Tuesday morning.

Deputies say they were called to the 7-Eleven on state Route 332 just after 1:15 a.m. for the report of a drunk man having a hard time putting gas in his car. There they found 62-year-old John Brockington Jr. filling up his car. After speaking to him, they determined he was drunk and arrested him.

Brockington was given traffic citations for DWI and DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. He is being held in the Ontario County Jail while waiting to be arraigned.
