CHILI, N.Y. (WHEC) — A woman suffered minor injuries after she was hit by a pickup truck at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Investigators said the woman was in the crosswalk on Westside Drive in Chili when she was hit at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

The driver got out of his truck to check on the woman but then drove off. Deputies said she was able to drive herself to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators are no longer looking for the driver of the black, four-door Chevrolet pickup truck with a red handicap tag in the windshield.

They said the driver contacted the sheriff's office and is being cooperative.

No charges or tickets have been filed at this point.

The investigation is ongoing.
