VICTOR, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Perinton man is facing a drug charge after deputies found him in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop. Following the arrest, deputies executed a search warrant of the home where they found over $315,000 worth of drugs.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office stopped Adam J. Cole, 31, on High Street in the town of Victor on Nov. 27. During the traffic stop, Cole was found in possession of approximately a half-pound of marijuana that he arranged to sell to a person in Victor.
A search warrant was later executed at Cole's Perinton home.
Deputies say they found approximately 56 pounds of marijuana, six pounds of concentrated cannabis, over 330 ecstasy pills, nearly a half-pound of psychedelic mushrooms, approximately one ounce of cocaine, methamphetamine, THC edibles, and more than 700 THC vape cartridges.
Several long guns were recovered along with equipment specifically designed for the manufacturing and packaging of concentrated cannabis
Deputies say the total street value of the drugs seized from the home exceeds $315,000.
Cole was charged with criminal sale of marijuana in the second degree, a Class D Felony. He was arraigned at Ontario County CAP and released on his own recognizance. Additional charges against Cole are pending.
