ROSE, N.Y. (WHEC) -- A Wayne County man has been arrested for allegedly going into 10 businesses and collecting money.
Deputies say he was pretending to be with the Girl Scouts organization but used the donations for his own personal gain.
After a months-long investigation, deputies arrested 34-year-old Eric Frisbie of Rose for scheme to defraud, criminal impersonation, and petit larceny.
Frisbie was arraigned in the Town of Lyons and released on his own recognizance.
He is due back in the court in Sodus in April.
