BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — You'll still likely need to be fully vaccinated before heading to any Buffalo Bills games this fall.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz told our Buffalo affiliate the county is sticking to their plans to require shots for fans to get into Highmark Stadium.

Poloncarz says the only way they would be able to achieve 100% capacity is if all staff and fans are fully vaccinated.

The plan drew pushback from Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who previously said he believed the idea was "not legally correct" and said the state would have to sign off on any plans. He also said he thinks it's too early to make a decision.
