ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —News10NBC is celebrating another winner of the “Do the Right Thing” award, meet  Clare Krawczyk, a fifth-grader at Holy Cross.

She got nominated by the head of Volunteers of America Upstate New York.

Clare does a lot at such a young age for those in need and the homeless in Rochester. She collects personal care items, blankets, anything you can to help out. Then-- mid pandemic, when masks were hard to come by, she sewed 100 by herself and took them to a local nursing home to help the most at risk.

Great work, Clare!
