According to the Humane Society, the dogs' owner was currently in jail, leaving the two small dogs inside the home.

"At this time evidence showed that neither dog, a male Pomeranian and a female miniature poodle has not been fed or cared for several days," officials with the Humane Society said.

Amy Tunison, 48, has been arrested and charged with failure to provide food/water to an impounded animal, a misdemeanor. She will appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.

The two dogs are now being cared for by the Ontario County Humane Society.
