HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WHEC)— The Dome Arena in Henrietta will be set up as a site for COVID-19 vaccinations.
Melissa DeRosa - the Secretary to Governor Cuomo, made that announcement in a Tweet Monday morning.
It is a "walk-in" clinic, but you will still have to make an appointment to get your shot. DeRosa clarified that "walk-in" does not mean it is a "drive-thru" clinic.
Phase 1B of vaccinations began in New York Monday, as the state also launched a new website and a call line for people to check if they qualify for the vaccine.
While a specific date and time have not been announced, DeRosa said it will open "next week."
