DANSVILLE, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Fairport man is facing multiple felony charges in Livingston County after getting caught driving drunk with a three-year-old in the vehicle.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says that 26-year-old Dylan Holmes was driving in Dansville on Sunday when he was stopped on Clara Barton Street for a traffic violation. The deputy suspected he was under the influence of alcohol, which was confirmed after a sobriety test.

Holmes was also found to be in possession of marijuana, had had his license suspended or revoked three times in the past, and was restricted to driving with an interlock device- which his current vehicle lacked.

He was charged with felony DWI (due to a previous conviction), felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child (also known as Leandra's Law) and felony unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He also is facing child endangerment and marijuana charges.

Holmes was arraigned at the Livingston County Jail before being remanded to Sheriff's custody on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. The child was turned over to a family member and the incident was referred to Child Protective Services.
