ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Police Department is facing more accusations of police brutality.

Reverend Lewis Stewart from United Christian Leadership Ministry plans to hold a press conference Wednesday over claims police assaulted a 13-year-old boy and his stepfather last month. The boy's family is also expected to be there.

Rochester Police tell News10NBC that on Sept. 19., officers responded to a fight on a school bus along Lake Avenue.

Police say the boy was trying to get off the bus; officers tried to stop him, but the student refused.

When the teen's stepfather arrived, police say he got in the way of officers then they arrested the man.

The police department said no one was injured, and this case will go under review.
