A Henrietta man is facing charges after a 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash.

The crash happened around 7:50 Monday morning. Deputies say 47-year-old Louie Restivo was traveling east in his pick-up truck on Boughton Hill Road in Mendon when he turned left in front of dump truck that was traveling west. Investigators say Restivo then stopped in the road before entering a construction area in the grass.

The driver of the dump truck tried to stop, but deputies say he ended up hitting the vehicle of 26-year-old Hannah Kline of Farmington. Kline was driving behind Restivo and was pronounced dead at the scene. Aaron Bassage, 48, was driving the dump truck.

Restivo was arrested and charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter. Deputies say Restivo was convicted of DWAI in 2008. He was also ticketed with failure to yield the right of way. Restivo was not injured in the crash.

Bassage was also ticketed for operating out of class, operating out of restrictions, and brakes out of service. He was also uninjured in the crash.
