Agents arrived here at Morgan communities in Pittsford just before 9 a.m. Monday. They’ve spent most of the day inside.

The FBI will only say that they were here to conduct “court-authorized” activity. No one has been arrested.

News10NBC saw agents coming and going from the building all day.  At times, they were bringing large boxes to their vehicles before leaving.

Bob Morgan has been behind some of the biggest development projects in the area. That includes the proposal for Parcel 5 at Midtown and Tower 280, along with the new apartments being built next to Dinosaur BBQ and the housing projects near the George Eastman Museum and the Science Center.

Morgan was at his office today during the raid. At one point speaking with colleagues and attorneys outside.

Jennifer Lewke : Mr. Morgan do you have any comment on the search?

Bob Morgan told News10NBC he would have “no comment” as he drove away.

Considering the amount of business he does with the City of Rochester, News10NBC asked Mayor Lovely Warren about it.

"We believe in the justice system, as an attorney, of course people are innocent until proven guilty and we know everyone will do their due-diligence in their review of this process," stated Rochester Mayor, Lovely Warren.

Jennifer Lewke: What will happen with the Morgan-backed projects either underway or in the works?

"They have done a lot of work for our city and contributed to its revitalization," stated Warren. "I think that going forward, as I said, for the City of Rochester, we have not had any issues of concern that have been brought to us by authorities.  So, we will proceed with the work that is going on in our community"

Monroe County, which has offered Morgan tax breaks on a number of his projects, also tells News10NBC that it has not received any subpoenas for information or calls of concern from the FBI at this point.
