FedEx adding fuel surcharge next month

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — FedEx is adding a fuel surcharge for certain services starting on April 4.
The fee will apply to FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground® and FedEx Freight® services.
This comes as FedEx reported a mixed set of quarterly earnings. Higher shipping prices helped the company’s bottom line, but profits fell short of forecasts.
That caused FedEx stock to fall 4% Friday.
