City of Rochester to host events for students to sign up for college financial aid

The City of Rochester will be hosting events throughout the school year to help students get ready for college.

The city plans to hold six FAFSA Fest meetings starting next week through March 2017.

The events will give students the chance to learn more about financial aid and get help filling out FAFSA forms.

Dates

Thur., Nov. 2, 2017, 5 to 7 p.m. at REOC, 161 Chestnut St. (free parking available at the Strong) 
Sat., Nov. 18, 2017, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MCC Downtown Campus, 321 State St. (with SUNY Financial Aid Day). Free parking. 
Sat., Dec. 2, 2017, noon to 2 p.m. at Franklin High School, 950 Norton St. Free parking. 
Sat., Jan, 13, 2018, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East High School, 1801 E. Main St. Free parking. 
Tues. Feb. 13, 2018, 5 to 7 p.m. at REOC, 161 Chestnut St. (free parking available at the Strong) 
Sat. March 3, 2018, noon to 2 p.m. at MCC Downtown Campus, 321 State St. Free parking.
