When first responders arrived, they found the toddler in the pool unconscious and not breathing. On Friday, deputies told News10NBC that she did have a heartbeat when she was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Deputies said the toddler was at the house with her father and siblings when she wandered away. She was later found in the in-ground pool on her parents' property.

According to deputies, there is a fence around the backyard but not around the pool itself.
