First Alert Weather Day: Heavy rain causing flooding in area

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The News10NBC First Alert Weather team continues tracking heavy rain in the region.

A flood warning is in place for southern Livingston and southwestern Ontario counties until 1:30 p.m. Thursday. A flash flood warning for parts of Monroe, Ontario and Wayne counties expired at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

The New York State Thruway Authority has closed the eastbound exit ramp on I-90 at Exit 46 in Henrietta due to flash flooding. Traffic is backed up in the eastbound lanes between Exit 45 in Victor and Exit 47 in LeRoy.
