ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- News10NBC has issued a Yellow Alert for Wednesday as freezing rain moves into the Rochester region throughout the day.
Slick travel will continue through Wednesday night in spots north of 104.
The freezing rain has tapered off as temperatures rose above 32 degrees.
At Rochester's airport, a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation was reported with three tenths of an inch seen in Buffalo.
A Yellow Alert remains in place for Western New York through Thursday morning due to the chance of freezing drizzle and flash freezing after midnight as temperatures fall back below the freezing point.
The bulk of the freezing rain has ended as of Wednesday afternoon.
