ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — It turned out to be a beautiful day in Rochester with decreasing clouds making way to sunshine and highs in the lower 70s.

Tonight into tomorrow, we can expect clear skies and temperatures falling into the upper 40s to low 50s for the overnight low.

Another beautiful day is ahead for Tuesday as we will start with plenty of sunshine and continue to stay dry through the afternoon. Temperatures Tuesday will be in the lower 70s.

We are looking at multiple dry days ahead this week as an extensive area of high pressure will control our weather pattern.

As we move into the later part of the workweek and the weekend, we will have a late summer warm-up with temperatures rebounding into the 80s. By Sunday, we will be in the mid-80s. The next chance of rain will be Sunday night.

We will start next Monday with spotty morning showers.
