ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — It will be mostly cloudy today with temperatures holding steady in the low 40s. Overnight lows will dip down into the mid-20s with a few clouds.
Sunday starts off dry and chilly, with temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30. Moisture moves in from the south around lunchtime and will start off as wet snow. We'll see a brief period (a few hours) of wet snow, that will accumulate an inch or two on grassy surfaces. Any accumulation won't last long, temperatures will climb just enough to see a changeover to a cold rain through the afternoon. Any moisture pulls out of the region by Monday morning, with some clearing into the afternoon.
Tuesday is dry and sunny, but chilly with highs in the 30s. Another wave of low pressure will spread some rain back into the area again on Wednesday, but it still looks like this will move out again by Thursday. This should leave us with a dry and seasonable Thanksgiving, with highs near 50.
