ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — If one of your 2020 resolutions includes a half or full marathon, Rochester’s running community wants to help you achieve your goals.
On Thursday night, Fleet Feet Sports held an informational session for its spring training program.
People were able to talk about what they want to accomplish and what they need to do to get there.
Fleet Feet has six different training programs to get runners and walkers ready for the Flower City marathon and beyond.
"We have runners and walkers,” Kate Brett, the Training Program Coordinator said. “These programs truly are for everyone. So whether you run an eight-minute mile or you walk a 15-minute mile, we have a place for everyone."
Brett says Flower City is the kick-off to spring training in Rochester, and there are races all year round.
Last year, News10NBC had a relay team in the Rochester Marathon.
