BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Flooding led to multiple crashes on I-490 in Brighton early Thursday morning.
Overnight rain caused flooding on both sides of the highway near Route 441.
Deputies say at least three cars hydroplaned and crashed. No one was seriously hurt.
Part of I-490 was closed while crews drained the water. It has since reopened.
Flooding also forced deputies to shut down parts of Calkins Road in Henrietta overnight. The stretch between East Henrietta Road and Calkins Road was closed for about an hour, but has also since reopened.
More rain is expected Thursday. Deputies are urging drivers to take it slow and watch out for flooding and ponding on the roads.
