A former co-founder of a Henrietta-based marketing company, 5LINX, has been sentenced to 14 months in prison.
Jeb Tyler, 45, of Rochester, NY, was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and filing a false tax return for the year 2012.
Prosecutors say Tyler and co-defendants, Craig Jerabeck and Jason Guck, who also helped start 5LINX, received more than $2.3 million from a Florida company which they didn't report to 5LINX shareholders, violating a shareholder agreement.
In addition to serving 14 months in prison, Tyler will have to pay $21,759,633 in restitution.
