Former employee sues Seneca Park Zoo Society over discrimination

The Seneca Park Zoo Society is facing a lawsuit from its former director of education.

In court paperwork, 65-year-old Bartholomew Roselli claims age discrimination.

He says that responsibilities were given to younger staff in 2015, and then he was fired in 2017. 

He says throughout his time at the zoo, he received positive job performance reviews.

In a statement, the Seneca Park Zoo Society vows to defend itself saying, "The Seneca Park Zoo Society stands by its action to terminate the employment of Mr. Roselli and vehemently denies his allegations of harassment and discrimination."
