ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — March is National Women's History Month. Every March since 1987, the nation has recognized the contributions of women.

Jaclyn Richard spent four years as the president of the local chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). She's now running for a seat on the Brighton Town Board.

She is a passionate and vocal advocate for not only women's rights but human rights.

Richard joined News10NBC's Lynette Adams on Rochester in Focus to share her take on where women stand and what work still needs to be done.
