Former Waterloo superintendent accused of forcible touching

SENECA FALLS, N.Y. (WHEC) — A former school superintendent is accused of trying to touch another man inappropriately.

Seneca Falls Police arrested 89-year-old Richard Conover, of Seneca Falls, on Friday. He was charged with one count of forcible touching and one count of harassment.

According to the Finger Lakes Daily News, Conover was the Waterloo Schools superintendent back in the '70s and '80s.

Back in 2009, Conover pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child. In that case, he was accused of sexually abusing a 13-year old boy.
