Founders of Cam's Pizzeria arrested on nearly 80 felony counts

ROCHESTER N.Y. (WHEC) — The husband and wife who founded the Cam's Pizzeria pizza chain were arrested Thursday on nearly 80 felony counts for tax fraud, grand larceny and other charges.

Carmelo Calascibetta, 58, and Rosanna Calascibetta, 57, were indicted by a grand jury in Monroe County.

According to the Monroe County District Attorney's Office, the couple is accused of failing to report nearly $5 million in sales between 2011 and 2015 at seven Monroe County locations.

This allowed them to pocket nearly an additional $400,000 in income.
