ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man faces charges of second-degree murder and five counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting death of a Rochester woman.
The Monroe County District Attorney's Office announced that Margzell Miller, 35, was indicted on those charges by a grand jury.
Prosecutors said that Miller shot and killed Shaniece Taylor in August in her Fourth Street home. They said that Miller was on the run for two months before police captured him in October.
Miller had been on parole for attempted assault when Taylor was killed.
