ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Tuesday was a great day to go outside and get some exercise, including at a new free fitness court that opened at Cobb's Hill Park.
The fitness court provides a new fun way to work out, and includes a circuit training system that includes 30 pieces of equipment that will help increase mobility and muscular strength.
"We want to make sure that people come out and utilize it," says Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren. "This is a free outdoor fitness space, so it is no cost to residents, it is available for people to use at any point of time. There is a free app we also have, Ambassador, that will be here providing free fitness. So this is an all-encompassing [place], if you want to get healthy, you may not have the income, but this is a place, a facility, where you can come and make it part of your workout and training program."
