It’s an issue that News10NBC has followed for months.

Pittsford hasn't been able to pass a budget that includes full-day kindergarten. The district remains one of just a handful of districts in New York State without the program.

A bill that would fund the remaining districts was passed unanimously in the New York State Senate on Monday.

The measure will be included in the Senate's 2018-19 budget resolution being taken up on Wednesday.

The bill was sent to the New York State Assembly.
