An 18-year-old Genesee County man is facing multiple charges in connection with a number of alleged incidents that took place between May 2016 and July 2017.

Anthony Miraglia, of Byron, is charged with unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child, and sexual abuse in the third degree. Troopers tell News10NBC the unlawful imprisonment charge stems from Miraglia groping or touching the victims and not allowing them to leave his presence.

State Police say the charges are a result of multiple alleged incidents that took place in Genesee County from May 2016 through July 2017. Investigators say the victims, ages 15 to 17 at the time, were known to Miraglia.

The victims were people that Miraglia knew from high school or other acquaintances in the county, troopers tell News10NBC. They don’t believe Miraglia met any of the victims over the internet.

Miraglia was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court next month.

Investigators believe there is a possibility of other victims. If you know or are a victim of Miraglia or have any information, contact the State Police at 585-344-6200.
