Holley was seen getting into a vehicle in the area of Tremont Street in Rochester around 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday. An officer tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver, 35-year-old Corey Bowman, failed to stop.

A short pursuit occurred and eventually ended at Saxton Street and West Broad Street when Bowman crashed into a parked van in the driveway of a home on Saxton Street.

Holley and Bowman got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, but were taken into custody soon after without further incident.

Holley is charged with assault, criminal use of a firearm, burglary, criminal contempt, and criminal mischief. He's scheduled to be arraigned at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Greece.

Bowman was taken to the Monroe County Jail on a parole violation and will be facing additional traffic-related charges from Rochester Police in connection with the vehicle chase. Police say he was not involved in the shooting on White Swan Drive in Greece.

The shooting victim was taken to Unity Hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh and a head injury. He is in stable condition.
