Greece town supervisor: IJC members consider suspending Plan 2014

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- New members of the IJC are calling for a meeting to propose the suspension of Plan 2014. 

According to a statement on Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich's Facebook page, IJC Chairwoman Jane Corwin, joined by the U.S. commissioners, want to propose returning to Plan 1958.

"Critical information for Lake and Pond front residents:

I just confirmed with Congressman Collins that incoming IJC Chairwoman Jane Corwin joined by all the US Commissioners are calling for a meeting to propose the suspension of IJC Plan 2014 and a return to plan 1958 dd. This has always been my goal on behalf of all of our residents that have been suffering with rising waters and property damage since its inception.

On behalf of the residents of the Town of Greece I am sending our complete support to this effort by US Chair Jane Corwin and her colleagues. I am cautiously optimistic that we may see some progress. I'll keep you posted as more information becomes available."
