ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Greenlight Networks announced it’s working with LeChase Construction to expand its fiber-optic network growth across Upstate New York.
LeChase will store and deploy fiber so customers don’t have to wait as long for installation.
Mark Murphy, CEO of Greenlight, says it’s doubled the number of houses they service each year, but it needs LeChase in order to go beyond that.
"For us, it really became a no brainer to partner with LeChase,” Murphy said. “Their expertise in the construction management side is really best in class and it's really going to help us become much better at deploying fiber, getting organized internally."
By the end of 2020, the organizations believe they will be able to service 80,000 new homes. The two organizations plan on getting the ball rolling in the next two months.
