According to Syracuse.com, the group is urging Cornell University, which oversees the 4-H youth programs at county fairs in the state, to use its influence to ban Confederate flags from all 52 county fairs.

Cornell officials responded saying although they dislike what the Confederate flag symbolizes, they do not have the power to get county fairs to ban them.
