Halloween forecast more of a 'trick' than a 'treat'

This years Halloween forecast is a bit messy, with rain and temperatures in to the 50s.

But it's not far off from the average.

The average high is about 54 degrees and over the past 77 years, it has rained 31-percent of the time on Halloween.

This rain and temperature shouldn't keep the kids home from trick or treating though.

It's not like 1988 when the mercury got down to 21 degrees on Halloween or like 1993 when a snowstorm in Rochester and all of western New York forced some kids to stay home.

At least this year, despite the rain, it will not get that bad.
