ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) - Two guests on this week's Rochester in Focus include the head of a local organization working to empower people and communities to break the cycle of domestic violence and a professor from RIT who is partnering with her to help make it all happen.

It's all through an app called RITa.

The purpose is to provide health care professionals with an informed, consistent response to patient concerns about intimate partner violence.

Developers are gearing up for the launch of version 2.0 to continue their mission.

Learn more about the app here.
