ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Farmers are calling on the state to finally release its regulations for hemp.
The bill, signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, is set to go into effect in January.
The regulations will set quality standards, labeling requirements and other rules for selling hemp products in New York.
The State Health department claims it is still finalizing the comprehensive set of regulations.
