Four tenants called the fire in, and all of them were able to make it out. Two are being treated for smoke inhalation and minor injuries.

Firefighters reported "some animals" died, but didn't specify how many. They are still looking for some pets.

The fire chief said they were able to put it out quickly, so most of the damage was contained to the second floor, and that the Red Cross is helping the homeowners.

This is a developing story. It will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
