Fire damages 4 homes on Alphonse Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Four homes are damaged after a massive fire in Rochester early Tuesday morning.

It started at a vacant home at 415 Alphonse St. around 2:30 a.m. 


Flames quickly spread to a house next door. The people inside were able to get out safely.

Two neighboring homes suffered heat damage, but never caught fire.

Firefighters are still investigating what sparked the blaze.
