One victim had to be rescued through the roof of the home.

The flames started in the second floor of this three-family home.

Firefighters responded around 7:15 a.m.

News10NBC spoke with a neighbor who described the chaos.

"It's terrifying," Jessica Ferguson said. "It really is terrifying and I wasn't sure where it was coming from, if it was coming from underneath me or where it was."

Both victims were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and remain in critical condition.

A dog was also rescued from the home.

The Arson Task Force is investigating.

News10NBC will provide additional information as it becomes available.
