Investigators are looking into who or what started a house fire, critically injuring two people.
A 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman needed to be pulled from the burning home on Lexington Avenue on Sunday.
One victim had to be rescued through the roof of the home.
The flames started in the second floor of this three-family home.
Firefighters responded around 7:15 a.m.
News10NBC spoke with a neighbor who described the chaos.
"It's terrifying," Jessica Ferguson said. "It really is terrifying and I wasn't sure where it was coming from, if it was coming from underneath me or where it was."
Both victims were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and remain in critical condition.
A dog was also rescued from the home.
The Arson Task Force is investigating.
News10NBC will provide additional information as it becomes available.
