ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The weather in Western New York and the Finger Lakes region is anything but predictable.
Two weeks ago it was near 80, Wednesday there was record snowfall and Thursday brought lake effect snow with temperatures in the 30s.
Some viewers have asked News10NBC if this crazy weather is impacting the local wineries and vineyards.
Jim Nocek from Anyela's Vineyards in Skaneateles was kind enough to join us tonight to answer some questions we've received.
We asked him if the early buds were damaged by the recent snow and what temperature range causes growers to become concerned that their grapes have sustained significant damage.
