ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — We have an In-Depth look at a new poll released Thursday night, and it has to do with how New Yorkers' feelings towards Governor Cuomo.

The poll, from Quinnipiac University, shows nearly half (49%) of New Yorkers say the governor should not resign, 43% say he should step down. The 43% is a big jump compared to a Siena College poll which was released earlier this week, in that poll, only 35% of New York voters said the governor should resign.

The Quinnipiac poll was conducted more recently, this past Tuesday and Wednesday. The Siena poll was conducted between March 8-12. An exclusive News10NBC/SurveyUSA poll conducted from March 5 to 7 showed 46% thought the legislature should move to impeach the governor if he didn't resign.

Cuomo maintains he refuses to step down.
