ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The married murder suspects arrested in Henrietta area could be receiving help from white supremacists, investigators say.

Blane Barksdale, 56, and Susan Barksdale, 59, have been on the run for more than two weeks. They are wanted in the murder of a 72-year-old man om Tuscon, Arizona. The couple escaped custody in Utah while being transported to Arizona late last month.

Blane's name was added Tuesday to the U.S Marshals' 15 Most Wanted list, and authorities have described him as a "career criminal."

“Somebody like Blane in prison...would be associated with Aryan brotherhoods, white supremacist gangs,” said U.S. Marshal for Arizona David Gonzales at a press conference Tuesday.

Police believe the couple may be hiding in Arizona.

The U.S. Marshals announced Monday the reward for information leading directly to Blane's arrest is up to $25,000 now.

Susan Barksdale's reward amount remains at up to $10,000.
