Investigators with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office plan to hold a press conference Wednesday at 4 p.m. to talk about a complicated and unusual case.
The names of the two people who were found dead in a burned-out car in Hamlin Monday morning is expected to be released.
There are several major questions that have not been answered. Who are the two people found inside the car? What started the fire? How did the victims die?
Deputies have been canvassing neighborhoods around the scene where they found the car parked behind a warehouse on King Street. They are asking neighbors and drivers if they saw or know anything about what happened.
For now, this is being treated as a double murder case. Deputies said the owner of the car is not one of the victims and that person is cooperating with investigators.
