ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Irondequoit man charged with attempted murder pleaded guilty to a lesser charge on Wednesday.
Ronald Pecora pleaded guilty to first-degree assault. He had been charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and second-degree harassment.
He admitted to shooting a 26-year-old man in the stomach with a semi-automatic at a 7-Eleven on Titus Avenue in Irondequoit in July.
Pecora will be sentenced to 11 years in prison on Feb. 5.
